Sailing Into Venice

These first two pictures are some of the ones that they take here on the ship.
We bought a few since they turned out so great.
We have just sailed into Venice and we can get off the ship in about 1/2 hour.
We are looking forward to it because originally we weren't going to get here until dark and would have no time in the city.
We are hoping the gondolas are still running.
From what we here they have a stronger union than the teamsters.
Of course we know what happened to the auto industry!
I think it's because I'm on board but I'm not completely sure on that one. I asked our waiter at dinner and he said that this is the first time the captain has done this.
However it happened we are going to take full advantage. We have until 1:30am to get back on the ship. Then we leave at 7:15 so we will not get much sleep tonight.
