Enjoying A Short Getaway

This is the view from the balcony this morning.
Last night I went to sleep with the sound of the surf crashing gently in the background.
I could get used to this.
A very kind friend has let us use their condo for the weekend.
We started today with an early morning long walk along the beach.
What a great way to enjoy God's creation!
After work we are back out here for the night and then will head to church tomorrow night and Sunday and then spend the rest of Sunday and a bit of Monday here.
It is like being on a vacation without having to fly anywhere.
Of course it does help that we live in vacation paradise here on the Gulf coast.
More later. Back to enjoy the beach and then sit and watch the sunset.
